Charminar
A major landmark in the city, the Charminar was built just two years after the founding of Hyderabad. A monument with four graceful minarets, it is often referred to as the Arc de Triomphe of the East. Its central structure soars to a height of 180 feet.
Golconda fort
The construction of Golconda Fort of Hyderabad dates back to the early 13th century when this south eastern part of the country was ruled by the Kakatiyas. Nowadays the ruins of the Golconda Fort in Hyderabad have a desolate majesty in the midst of an arid plain. Golconda Fort in Hyderabad is located on a hill about 400 feet above the surrounding plain. Falaknuma Palace
Built by Nizam of Hyderabad, Falaknuma Palace houses an exclusive collection of art objects, tapestries and carpets. You can also witness massive single-man collection of diamonds in this Palace.
Mecca Masjid
The biggest mosque in Hyderabad, Mecca Masjid is an imposing shrine that is visited by 10,000 worshippers, every year. The construction of this mosque was started by Sultan Muhammad Qutub Shah.

Hussain Sagar Lake
The huge lake linking the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad was constructed in 1562 A.D. A 16-metre tall, 350 tonne monolithic colossus, Buddha Statue, placed on the rock of Gibraltar in the middle of the Lake is truly awe-inspiring.
