India is justly proud of her rich wildlife, and our 17-day itinerary provides a glimpse of the abundant variety of fauna to be found in northern India, with visits to the world-famous National parks of Ranthmabhore, Bandhavgarh, Kanha and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
Day 1 Arrival Delhi

Day 2 Delhi - Ranthambhore
Travel by train to Ranthambhore, famous for the wildlife sanctuary, which is said to have the India’s friendliest Tigers and considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. Overnight Hotel
Day 3 In Ranthambhore
On morning and late afternoon game excursions, you are likely to see Nilgai (blue bull), barking deer and sloth bear and perhaps the very elusive Royal Bengal tiger.

Today you may wish to go for game excursions in the park or can go for a sightseeing tour of Ranthambhore Fort and Mansarovar Lake.

Day 5 Ranthambhore - Bharatpur
Travel to Bharatpur, a home to an astonishing range of flora and fauna. An abundance of birdlife is found here, including the open-bill and painted stork, egret, darter, white ibis, spoonbill, grey heron, Sarus crane, cormorant, migratory geese, duck, rosy pelican and the rare Siberian crane.

Day 6 In Bharatpur
Have a completely rewarding experience of seeing an overwhelming range of birds during the rickshaw ride into the bird sanctuary.

Day 7 Bharatpur - Agra
Journey to the city of Taj, Agra en route visit the evocative city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century, it is a veritable fairytale city built of red sandstone, and its « ruins » are in pristine condition.
Post lunch we explore the imposing Agra Fort, built of red sandstone and marble is a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates.
Evening visit to the fabled perfectly proportioned Taj Mahal at sunset. This 17th century, white marble mausoleum was built by Emperor Shah Jehan to enshrine the mortal remains of his Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight Hotel
Day 8 Agra - Jhansi - Orchha – Khajuraho
Morning we travel by train to Jhansi, where we disembark and visit the fortified town of Orchha and continue our drive to Khajuraho, the legendary temples of Khajuraho built in the 9th and the 10th century are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders, Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures.

Early morning game-drive in Panna Tiger Reserve. Later we visit the Eastern & Western group exquisite 10th century temples of Khajuraho.
Evening witness “sound and light show” in the western group of temples.

Day 10 Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
A drive today takes us to Bandhavgarh National Park, is a premier wildlife preserve in the Vindhya mountain range of Central India. This National Park offers excellent game viewing, with the possibility of sighting tiger, leopard, gaur, nilgai, wild boar and sloth bear.

Day 13 Bandhavgarh - Kanha
Drive to Kanha National Park, a « Project Tiger » reserve which covers a wide area of valley and thick forest, rich in birdlife with over 300 different species. It is famous for barasingha (swamp deer), blackbuck, jackals, langur, leopard and, especially tiger.
